The mission of the HIV/AIDS Music Project (HAMP)
is to combat the spread of the HIV virus and eradicate stigma associated with HIV/AIDS through the use of music. To fulfill this mission, the website provides a catalogue of global music, representing all genres, whose artists, lyrics, or arrangements illuminate clinical, social, or cultural aspects of HIV/AIDS. The website also provides a curriculum that can be downloaded and adapted for use in a wide range of instructional settings, including seminars that target high-risk populations, professional workshops, and K12 assemblies.
